The bassist has a new memoir, THE FIRST 21: How I Became Nikki Sixx, that he gets into detail about how it came together. They also touch on how Sixx got into music, how he was inspired by everyone from the New York Dolls to Cheap Trick to Aerosmith, and how he first got involved in the ’80s Sunset Strip music scene.
