In recent years, the Rolling Stones have been steadily releasing shows from their archives. Today, the group announced they’re going deep into their catalog to unearth a set that has been bootlegged for years. In 1977, the Stones played a pair of 300-person capacity shows in Toronto and now the set is getting a proper release.
Titled Live At The El Mocambo, the shows were debatably peak Stones. In addition to the announcement, the band released versions of “It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll” and “Rip This Joint” as previews from what went down on those March nights.
The set is out on May 13. You can pre-order it here.
