A week ahead of the release of the previously announced Prince and The Revolution: Live 1985 Syracuse concert film, the late artist’s estate has released a remixed and remastered standalone video of “Little Red Corvette” from that legendary performance.

Similarly restored versions of “Let’s Go Crazy” and “1999” have already come out from the project, which was filmed at the Carrier Dome during Prince’s tour in support of Purple Rain.
In conjunction with the release, the first episode of the two-part podcast “The Story of Prince and The Revolution: Live” is out today (May 26). On “Welcome to Superstardom,” host Andrea Swensson talks to all five members of The Revolution to discuss the Purple Rain movie premiere at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
“Growing up, you see all these stars from the ’40s and ’50s putting their hands in cement. And you’re a million miles away in Minneapolis,” original Revolution drummer Bobby Z says on the podcast. “And all of a sudden you’re transported in real time, sitting next to Prince — my wife on the right, Prince and Apollonia to the left. And he’s elbowing me during the film. It’s a real moment. Actually, we sent him flowers that day saying ‘Welcome to superstardom.’”
Prince’s life and career is also chronicled in Prince: The Immersive Experience, a collaboration between his estate and Superfly Presents that opens June 9 in Chicago.
