Charli XCX announced her newest record Crash, set to arrive March 18, and released one of its songs alongside a collaborative single today.

The alt-pop queen’s album is available for pre-order.

This is her follow-up to her 2020 album, how i’m feeling now. Her latest single “New Shapes” (featuring Christine and the Queens and Caroline Polachek) dropped today, alongside her own “Good Ones,” both now available on streaming.

Crash will be Charli’s (a.k.a. Charlotte Aitchison) fifth studio record. She has rallied an impressive string of producers and collaborators for the album, including A. G. Cook, George Daniel, Deaton Chris Anthony, Lotus IV, Caroline Polachek, Christine and the Queens, Oscar Holter, Digital Farm Animals, Rina Sawayama, Ian Kirkpatrick, Jason Evigan, Justin Raisen, Ariel Rechtshaid, Ilya, Oneohtrix Point Never, Jon Shave and Mike Wise.

In support of the forthcoming album, she revealed tour dates across North America and Europe beginning next spring. Tickets go on sale Friday, November 12, and a presale begins Wednesday, November 10. She is also set to perform both weekends of Barcelona’s Primavera Sound festival next June.

We last spoke with Charli XCX in our September 2019 cover story, which you can read here.
